Day 41 our last day

19 Sep

We both slept in. As usual it’s very comfy at Bill’s in every way.

We continue to stay on the “scenic backway” and had some great photo opportunities, Ontario is a beautiful place.

If you’re looking for a memorable food experience in Lakefield I recommend lunch in Lakefield at Stuff to Go. Jake is an entrepreneur, educated and experienced and he is just beginning to put his own personal stamp on this community. His new pub The Canoe and Paddle located at 18 Bridge St., opens later this month.

Nice to be home safely at last, 12,672km by the Subaru odometer; “Confidence in Motion” the car has run flawlessly and the overall average fuel consumption is 8.0 liters / 100 km.
What a great trip, thank you to James and Elisabeth for the invitation to their wedding in Sooke BC that gave us the reason to make the trip across the country. Thanks to my blog followers for reading my drivel and following us on the SPOT map.
