Day 32

10 Sep

We woke to a beautiful morning with the sun blasting in the front of the house. I had leftovers from dinner, crab and halibut cakes. JP, a special long time friend, is not only a producer at VancouverFilmStudio but he can fry up pretty good eggs. What a great start to the day and a perfect visit with Joe and Trish.
JP later gave us an personal tour around the studio; stay tuned for Flash in October.
Along the banks of the mighty Fraser we hiked in to see some people fishing for salmon. Two guys we spoke with had easily caught their limit of 2/day/person. I found a couple of interesting rocks in the riverbed.

We stopped in Hope for fuel and lunch at Home restaurant where we ate 2 years ago riding in heavy rain on the bike.

About 6:00pm we stopped for a coffee in Salmon Arm.

Along the way we stopped at the CPR at a gathering of people. It was dusk so poor light conditions but we huddled around an elderly man with a beard. I think his name was William Van something and he was pounding in a spike. He muttered something about it being the last one.
