Riding in “slow” fog

20 Jul

I call it slow fog because it can be so thick it’s dangerous to go faster or even to stop on the road. In most places the shoulders of the road are way to soft to dare using as a place to pull off because the soft rainsoaked gravel would gobble up my front wheel even at low speed. In NL there are many large potholes and bumps, and the edges of the pavement are often worn or eroded. It is challenging to find places to stop and take pictures.

The scenery is great even in the fog.

These next pics are for you Willie. Look very closely for the puffins that are expected to travel from this mail box to yours. Let me know when they arrive.
