Leading Tickles

6 Jul

Wow, great municipal campground, tent site #9 might likely be the best that I ever find. We took lots of pictures last evening and had mixed feelings packing up this morning. I’m now in a Tim Hortons on TCH at Bishop’s Falls waiting for probably an hour and a half for Jim to return to our site to retrieve his forgotten keys. Oh well, it’s one nice ride for him while I catch up with my journaling. He’s got my SPOT with him, just in case. Ah. He’s back.

We stopped this morning to this giant squid.

We’ve had hot sunny weather, although obscured by smoke from the fires on Labrador. I think the next 3 days will have some showers, and we hope to camp near Twillingate.

Thanks for posting. We met some geologists who collect more rocks than I do.
