The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog. This is my first blog and was created as a way to do more about writing and to learn about blogging and phlogging. I had a adventure riding out to Vancouver and back; great ride and a few friends and relatives did read along as I rode and wrote.
Here’s an excerpt:
This Windtogo blog got about 2,000 views in 2012.; so not bad first my first attempt.
I’m planning a return trip to
this coming summer. Hopefully I’ll be able to explore some of the more remote south shore villages of Newfoundland between Burgeo and Hermitage and ride along the coastal roads on the Burin and Avalon Peninsula. In 2011 I enjoyed 12 days on the island exploring the western shore and this time I’ll follow-up on a local suggestion, to ride from Port aux Basques to the end of the road near Rose Blanche. I seem to have a passion for getting to the ends of roads just to see what’s there and find out why. It’s not too complicated in NL; either there is the sea, a river or lake, or a steep rocky mountain.
I’ve been reading “Photographer’s Guide to the Fuji X10” by Alexander S. White and it very helpful.
slightly used Datsun pickup
The Fuji manual available in pdf or the same as a printed copy that comes with a new X10 camera and is nearly useless in comparison to this book available which costs about $35.
Experimenting with a polarized filter.
